This is a sweet, character-driven love story written in the third person omniscient point of view. The events that shaped our star-crossed protagonists alternate between the past and the present. They are presented as they had occurred during their childhood; their thoughts and realizations about the events occur in the present, now that they're adults. There is intentional repetition throughout the narrative, linking the past to the present, and there are times when the two lives mirror each other, linking our lovers.
